BONDED ABRASIVES

Bonded abrasives are formed by mixing abrasives with resin and fillers. They are cutting tools consisting of abrasive grains bonded together with organic or inorganic bonds. They are widely used in metal working industries ranging from snagging operations to remove excess metal from casting and welds, to finishing operations. Metal, glass, stone, masonry and many other materials require bonded abrasives for processing operations.

COATED ABRASIVES

Coated abrasives are formed by gluing natural and synthetic abrasive grains to backings. Abrasive grains include aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, zirconia alumina, garnet and emery. Backing materials include paper, cloth, fiber and polyester film. The coated abrasives are manufactured in jumbo rolls, then cut into different shapes such as belts, discs, rolls and sheets for surface treatment and polishing applications.

DIAMOND BLADES

Diamond Discs are formed by attaching superabrasive materials like industrial diamonds to wheels. They are called superabrasives due to industrial diamond’s outstanding hardness and longevity. They are used for cutting extremely hard metals and stone.
